You'd have to know the history of this place/family to fully appreciate your experience here. This local Mom and Pop store has both a convenience store and side kitchen. Doesn't look like much to most but the food outweighs the look! I suggest newcomers try the wings and fries with sauce on everythang! That's the locals way! Sauce "slaps" way harder than Charlie Staples. Wings are meaty and flavorful not petite and dry like most pizza spots here. The pork chops and fried fish are close seconds and the ribs are pretty good too! Breakfast is hearty and soulful and you definitely get your money's worth here. Portions are generous! Come here for the food and the family that has been long standing since the 80's. You'll be glad you came.

The food is excellent & always cooked fresh as you order it. & I would suggest that newcomers try either the 5 or 10 piece breast strips or the 5 piece or 10 piece wing dings & always ask them to put sauce on everything (The wings, the breast strips, fries & all); That's the locals way. & they also have pretty good fish & rib dinners too. & The burgers are great too, just go see my good friends Big Dre & his brother & they'll hook you right up.

Hello!!! I can't say enough about a fine establishment, The staff is very friendly, and the soul food is very delicious. Catfish, haddock, perch, smelts, fried okra, and that banana pudding is out of sight. I have been a friend of the family for many years. Oh!! Cold banana pudding and it’s the best around, along with the ribs that’s fresh off the grill daily. Definitely recommend!
